Cameras
From StarCraftWiki
Cameras are used in custom maps where you may be in FPV (First Person View), or may be used to direct you where to go next. However, cameras are used only to create cinematics in maps. A player is able to place hundreds of cameras to give the viewer a really great cinematic experience. Of course, simply placing cameras isn't going to give you a great cinematic.
In order to properly use cameras for cinematics, you will need to be able to terrain good looking maps (advanced), set the correct colour and density of fog (if needed), create a custom sky (also advanced), and finally, the use of Triggers is the most important, to actually make things happen in the cinematic sequence.
Advanced (War 3)
In Warcraft III, in order to place a camera and give it a set-view, select Create Camera, this will create a camera at the location you are viewing in the World Editor. By double clicking the camera you created in the Camera Palette, you can change the settings of the camera to change where the camera is facing, and the field of view allowed through that camera.
It is also possible to use the mouse to change the view and field of view for a camera by holding CTRL and Right-Clicking in the editor window, and moving the mouse in order to give the camera a nicer feel (i.e. a First Person View of a street in a large city), you can change the Field of View by holding CTRL and using the mouse Scroll Wheel to give the camera a small field of view, or large. Moving the mouse Scoll Wheel normally will allow you to zoom in or zoom out.
